Returns information

Unopened office supplies can be returned within 30 days. Keep the delivery note with the returned goods.

Inputs are data; authority comes from the owner

Prompt injection is when untrusted content tries to influence an AI system’s instructions. A safer design limits which instructions count and which actions are available.

For the curious

The planted line is deliberately obvious and introductory. The defensive lesson is architectural: constrain tools, allow-list actions, separate owner instructions from inbound content, and stop when the boundary is unclear.

How this was built

Approach: three synthetic items, one textbook planted instruction and two authored response paths. The exercise never forwards, sends or updates anything.

Runtime model: none. Inference cost: £0; hosting is separate.

Limit: this is defensive awareness material, not a security test or a catalogue of attack techniques. Arun will add the build story after review.
